Tip: Start with Medium. If still too large, re-run on High or Maximum. For visa/portal submissions, High is usually sufficient.

How it works: Each PDF page is rendered onto a canvas at the selected resolution, then re-encoded as a compressed JPEG and assembled into a new PDF. This is the same technique used by professional PDF compressors.
